Former Republican Congressman, pro quarterback and VP candidate Jack Kemp died Saturday. As Reino points out, it was yet another blow to moderate Republicans, who did not have a great week.Below is a good example of why Kemp's death is a blow to the Republican party. You can see his frustration with Hannity's attacks on Obama. Kemp knew appealing to people's shallow fears was not the way to win an election. The results bear that out.
