You knew it would not take long before Sanford moved from being a scandal, to being a pop culture joke. First came the t-shirts (a pic of Sanford with the phrase "Wanna cross the Ultimate line" underneath). Now...we have the youtube parody: Mark Sanford the Movie.I understand it's a real tear-jerker.

I would love to get your opinion on whether or not Sanford was pleased or upset that his scandal coincided with the deaths of so many celebrities (Ed McMahon, Farah Fawcett, Billy Mays, Steve McNair, Alexis Arguello, Karl Malden, Fred Travalena, of course the dead centerpiece Michael Jackson), thusd stealing the spotlight away from him. Blessing or curse?
